#theatrecompany’s Film to Feature Mother-Daughter Duo
Confirmed this week, both legendary actress Diane Danzi Kvapil and her daughter Kate Wilford have signed on to play mother and daughter in a brand new short film from #theatrecompany.
Written by AC Horton (who will also direct), Katie Langham and John Patrick Maddock (who both co-star in the film), “Stratford Pl.” tells a multi-generational story full of drama and intrigue.
This will be the first time that Kvapil and Wilford have ever acted together.
Langham, who serves as producer, says “We [#theatrecompany] are excited to move forward on this unique project that is tailored to the talents and voices of these two extraordinary women.”
#theatrecompany presented “METH: a love story” at this year’s Cincinnati Fringe Festival and recently premiered in New York City with their original play, “The Gospel of Fat Kathy.”
Langham is enthusiastic about getting to work with such well respected actresses. “It is a great opportunity for us, as a young company, to work alongside theatre veterans in a city as artistically fruitful as Cincinnati.”
