On the Fringe – Thoughts From the Underground 5.28.15
Live from Know Theatre’s The Underground Lachey’s, (across the street from Know Theatre), gearing up for another fun night of theatrical marathoning!
Last night’s 60-second preview event was a blast and certainly gave those in attendance a taste of what to expect from this year’s 12-day Fringe Festival.
Prior to the party in the Underground (sponsored by Eli’s BBQ – and let me tell you, it was as tasty as I’d heard it was), I caught two interesting plays.
You can read my reviews of METH: A LOVE STORY and BOXED UP at CityBeat.com (along with lots of other reviews from the other CityBeat commentators here. I gave METH a must-see recommendation with a Critic’s Pick.
Tonight I’m seeing HITCHHIKERS MAY BE INMATES by Kevin Crowley and the Clifton Performance Theatre (I have a cool orange bracelet courtesy of Carol Brammer!) and RADIO GOMMORRAH LIVE! by the Burying Beetles. Stay tuned for thoughts of each by tomorrow sometime.
Will I see you in Over the Rhine tonight? Come celebrate theatre with me! Tonight is a Pajama Jam in The Underground following the Channel Fringe Hard-Hitting Action News Update!
